The SwissStop EXOTherm2 disc brake pads with an organic pad compound and cooling fins. The pad compound is applied to an aluminium backing plate, ensuring optimal heat dissipation, minimal fading and maximum service life. The cooling fins reduce the temperature in the pistons, pads and discs: brake fade is minimised.

• Magura MT2, MT4, MT6, MT8, MT Trail 2-piston disc brakes
• Campagnolo road disc brakes

IMPORTANT: The brake pads must be bedded in to achieve optimum braking power and durability

Step 1: On a moderately steep descent, apply the front and rear brakes alternately for 20–30 seconds. Repeat
this process 2–3 times.

Step 2: On a steeper descent, let both brakes drag alternately for 10–15 seconds each, stopping almost completely. Repeat
this process 2–3 times.

Pro tip: Bed in the rear brake pads on the front wheel. Follow the procedure described above. Then fit the pads to the rear. On a flat surface, let them bed in briefly 2–3 times. Caution: Before replacing the pads, ensure they have cooled down sufficiently: risk of burns!
