Sram Centerlock Lockring

The Internal Spline lock rings can be used with hubs ranging from 9 mm quick-release to 12 mm thru-axles. For use on road bikes, we recommend lock rings with an internal tool slot.

For 20 mm and 15 mm thru-axle mounting on Centerlock hubs, an external spline lockring with a larger inner diameter is required.

Internal tool holder: 23 mm inner diameter with 12-tooth spline; compatible tools e.g. Shimano TLLR15, Pedro’s 6460000. Corresponds to the tool used for cassette installation

External tool holder: 44 mm outer diameter with 16-tooth spline. Compatible tools e.g. Shimano TL-FC36, TL-FC32 or TL-FC33. Corresponds to the tool for Hollowtech II bottom bracket assembly
