Shimano XT FC Chainring - M8100
The new Shimano XT 12-speed components, designed for use ranging from cross-country to enduro. The XT components designated 8100 are designed for 1x12 and 1x12-speed drivetrains. The legendary durability and performance of XT MTB parts is now also available in 12-speed. The new Deore XT M8100 series boasts a host of technical highlights, including Shimano’s groundbreaking 12-speed Micro Spline cassettes, available with a range of 10-45T or 10-51T, 1x12- or 2x12-speed Hollowtech II cranksets, powerful two- and four-piston brakes, I-Spec EV shifters, high-precision 12-speed rear derailleurs and front derailleurs, Ice Tech Frezza brake discs with their outstanding heat dissipation, as well as the WH-M8100 and WH-M8120 wheelsets for XC and Enduro use.
Shimano XT SMCRM85 chainring:
The Dynamic Chain Engagement Plus chainrings from the Shimano XT 12x1 series SM-CRM85. Available from 28 to 38 teeth. These chainrings are compatible with Standard, Boost and SuperBoost frames. The chainline is established by the crankset.
Shimano Direct Mount chainring mount:
The new XTR cranksets now also come with a Direct Mount chainring mount. This allows the chainrings to be easily swapped. Alternatively, Shimano also offers a 2-speed spider. This allows for a maximum gear range to be fitted. The 2-speed XTR crankset can only be used with the XTR 10-45-tooth cassette and the RDM9120 SGS rear derailleur. The TL-FC41 tool is required for removing and fitting the chainring. The XT SMCRM85 and XTR SMCR95 can be used as single-speed chainrings
