Wolf Tooth Drop Stop B chainring
The Wolf Tooth Sram Direct Mount chainring with 3-point bolt-on mounting for:
- frames with 142/135 mm rear ends and 45 / 47.5 mm chainline and road bike cranks
- Frames with 142/135 mm rear ends and a 49 mm chainline and GXP cranks
- Frames with 142/135 mm rear ends and 49 mm chainline and DUB cranks
- Frames with 142/135 mm rear ends and 49 mm chainline and BB386 / BB30 long spindle cranks
- Frames with 148 mm rear dropouts, 53.5 mm chainline and DUB Super Boost Plus cranks
- On MTB frames, chainrings with 38 teeth or more cannot usually be fitted, as they will rub against the frame.
The single-chainring direct mount chainring has been specially developed for SRAM and Cane Creek GXP, DUB and BB30 cranksets with SRAM Direct Mount 3-bolt mounting. This mounting allows existing spider-chainring combinations to be converted to a single-chainring drivetrain using just 3 bolts. This saves weight and ensures a clean look.
Compatible with all 9-11-speed chains from all manufacturers and 12-speed chains from SRAM Eagle / Flattop / Transmission, KMC, Connex and Wipperman.

Wolf Tooth Drop-Stop B technology:
Wolf Tooth’s patented Drop-Stop B narrow-wide tooth profile offers the ultimate in chain guidance and self-cleaning. The right-hand side of the tooth is as wide as possible to maximise the contact area with the chain. More contact area means that the load is distributed over a larger surface, which in turn reduces wear. The left side of the tooth is narrower than the chain’s roller pin, so Wolf Tooth has removed additional material to create a channel through which dirt can drain away. More contact area and space, in turn, means a lower likelihood of the chain falling off due to dirt whilst riding.
