Truvativ Descendant Carbon Eagle Crankset

The DUB version of the Truvativ Descendant Carbon crankset offers the strength of carbon combined with the robustness of heavy metal. The Descendant Carbon crankset utilises an exclusive Truvativ carbon manufacturing process. The result is a crankset that is light enough for XC, yet strong and tough enough for enduro. The Descendant blends style and substance.

Sram/Truvativ DUB Axle Bottom Bracket System:

The DUB version of the Sram cranks is suitable for BSA threaded, Pressfit BB92, Pressfit 30 and BB30 bottom bracket shells. You can find the matching bottom brackets further down in the text. The axles have a diameter of 29 mm and a length of 113 mm. Axle play is adjustable via a preloader. The Sram DUB cranksets have their own proprietary standard and are only compatible with DUB bottom brackets, not with other standards or bottom brackets.

Truvativ Descendant Carbon

The new Descendant crankset with a 51-tooth chainring for mountain bikes with Boost rear end – 148 mm track width. The Descendant crankset is tough and, according to Truvativ, the strongest, stiffest and lightest crankset on the market. Despite its low weight, it is approved for All Mountain, Trail and Enduro use. The Direct Mount chainring mount simplifies chainring changes and allows for quick installation of Sram Direct Mount chainrings.

SRAM Direct Mount X-Sync 2 chainring, 12-11-speed:

SRAM’s Direct Mount X-Sync chainrings are bolted directly onto the crankset. This saves weight without compromising on stiffness or durability. Perfectly tuned for maximum chain control and guidance. The completely new chainring technology, specially developed for the Eagle chain and drivetrain, offers significantly quieter performance and exceptional durability. Dirt is removed more easily. The chainring teeth are longer and shaped like a saw blade to grip the Eagle chain perfectly. The new chainring profile thus increases chain tension and pedalling efficiency. At the same time, friction, chain noise and wear are reduced.

Truvativ Direct Mount chainring mount:

This mount allows Sram Direct Mount chainrings, or those from Race Face for example, to be fitted without an additional spider.
