Chris King ThreadFit24 Bottom Bracket Conversion Kit

Chris King offers various conversion kits for the new ThreadFit24 bottom brackets to adapt the ThreadFit24 bottom brackets to the desired crank axle and bottom bracket shell width.

The ThreadFit24 are Chris King’s classic bottom brackets with a BSA thread of 1.370 inches x 24 tpi (34.8 x 1.058 mm) and correspond to the previous road and MTB bottom bracket models. They are supplied without the inserts for the crank axle and spacer rings. With the conversion kit, all older Chris King road and MTB bottom brackets can also be converted.

Chris King Conversion Kit #4:

Kit #4 adapts Chris King ThreadFit24 bottom brackets to Shimano Hollowtech II, FSA Megaexo and Race Face X Type bottom bracket axles, for a bottom bracket shell width of 68 mm. To fit MTB cranks, the Small Parts Spacer Kit (item no. PBB010) is also required, as MTB cranks have a longer axle than road bike cranks.
