Shimano BB92 Pressfit Bottom Bracket

The XTRe bottom bracket is characterised by a silky-smooth ride and even better seals. The bottom bracket design is distinguished above all by its low weight, low Q-factor and greater ankle clearance. Furthermore, it is easy and safe to install and guarantees a longer service life thanks to the larger bearing diameters.

BB92 bottom bracket shells:

BB92 bottom bracket shells have a width of 89 to 92 mm and a press-fit dimension for the bottom bracket of 41 mm. These bottom brackets are only compatible with MTB cranks. Not compatible with MTB cranks for 83 and 100 mm installation widths. These bottom brackets are press-fit.

Shimano Hollowtech II crank axle 24 mm – MTB:

The Shimano Hollowtech II crankset system has a solid 24 mm axle. The MTB cranks have a 120 mm long crankset axle. The DH Saint and Zee cranks for 83 and 100 mm installation widths have longer axles and only fit frames with correspondingly wider bottom bracket shells. The respective bottom brackets are compatible with one another.

Included in the scope of delivery: right and left bearing cups, including bearing units, for frames with a 41 mm bottom bracket diameter and 89.5 and 92 mm bottom bracket widths. These Pressfit BB92 bottom brackets are supplied with a 2.5 mm spacer ring and are therefore suitable for two bottom bracket shell widths.
