Sram XX1 Eagle Boost crankset arms, 12-speed, DUB axle, colour black-gold, 34-tooth X-Sync 2 SL chainring, length 170 mm
Sram XX1 Eagle Dub crankset | FC-XX-1-C1
The Sram XX1 Eagle 12-speed components, the new super-light drivetrain concept featuring a single chainring and a 12-speed cassette with 10–50 teeth, replaces the 2- or 3-speed MTB drivetrain whilst offering almost the same gear range.
Sram XX1 Eagle Crank Dub
The new XX1 Eagle Dub crankset, significantly lighter still at 430 grams, with a 52-tooth chainline for mountain bikes with Boost rear end – 148 mm mounting width. The lightweight cross-country cranksets with carbon-tuned coating are exceptionally sturdy and light. The Direct Mount chainring mount simplifies chainring changes and allows for quick installation of Sram Direct Mount chainrings. By swapping the chainring, the Boost cranks with a 52 mm chainline can be converted to the standard 49 mm chainline.
SRAM Direct Mount X-Sync 2 SL chainring:
The Direct Mount X-Sync chainrings of the SRAM XX1 Eagle crankset are bolted directly onto the crank. This saves weight without compromising on stiffness and durability. Perfectly tuned for maximum chain control and guidance. This completely new chainring technology, specially developed for the Eagle chain and drivetrain, offers significantly quieter performance and exceptional durability. Dirt is removed more easily. The chainring teeth are longer and shaped like a saw blade to grip the Eagle chain perfectly. The new chainring profile thus increases chain tension and pedalling efficiency. At the same time, friction, chain noise and wear are reduced. The X-Sync 2 SL chainrings are also compatible with 11-speed chains
SRAM Direct Mount chainring mount:
This mount allows Sram Direct Mount chainrings, or those from Race Face for example, to be fitted without an additional spider. By changing the chainrings, the chainline can also be adjusted from 49 to 52 mm, from standard to Boost.
SRAM DUB axle and bottom bracket system:
The DUB version of the SRAM cranksets is suitable for BSA threaded, PressFit BB92, PressFit 30 and BB30 bottom bracket shells. You will find the compatible bottom brackets further down in the text. The axles have a diameter of 29 mm and a length of 113 mm. Axle play is adjustable via a preloader. The SRAM DUB cranksets have their own proprietary standard and are only compatible with DUB bottom brackets, not with other standards or bottom brackets.
