Shimano XT 8250 Rear Derailleur Compatibility:

The new Shimano XT 8250 rear derailleur series is compatible with Shimano Di2 wireless shift levers (MTB, Road, Gravel) and 12-speed cassettes with a 10-51 tooth range. The CN-M8100 chain is recommended. The 12-speed cassettes with a 9-45 tooth range are only compatible with the new Micro Spline freehub bodies
