Sram Red eTap AXS HRD

The SRAM Red eTap AXS is much more than an evolution. It is a 12-speed revolution. The developers at SRAM have created a groupset that is as capable as today’s riders and the bikes they choose. It offers a wider range, smoother gear changes and smarter shifting settings, made possible by AXS and the simplicity of eTap shifting logic, ensuring you always select the right gear. SRAM AXS, Access allows you to personalise the groupset directly from your mobile phone and make changes even whilst riding. The SRAM AXS app allows riders to view battery status, adjust component behaviour, personalise shift logic, receive maintenance alerts and update the firmware.

SRAM Red eTap AXS Shifter HRD

Fully wireless electronic shifting combined with fully hydraulic disc brakes, HRD. And the award-winning eTap shift logic paired with the connectivity of AXS. The Sram Red eTap AXS HRD brake-shift system is the future. And the future can be tailored to your personal needs thanks to AXS and extensive lever adjustments for hand size and braking behaviour. The levers of the Hydro HC brake platform can be personalised to suit your hands and preferences via Contact Point Adjustment and a separate Reach Adjustment. The ErgoFit levers are fitted with textured hoods for a better grip. The carbon ErgoBlade levers and large, textured SRAM eTap shift paddles offer reliable control and good feedback.

Flat Mount brake calipers:

The new Flat Mount caliper standard for road bike brakes reduces weight and offers a significantly sleeker look. With the Flat Mount standard, the rear caliper sits directly on the chainstay; no adapter is required for caliper mounting. The bolts pass through the chainstay from below directly into the brake caliper. A flat adapter is still required on the fork. The adapter is screwed onto the rear of the fork leg, with the brake sitting directly on the adapter. By flipping the adapter, the available brake disc sizes of 140 and 160 mm can be changed.

SRAM Red eTap batteries:

Batteries are used on the rear derailleur and the front derailleur. These batteries can be swapped between the two. So, for example, if the rear derailleur runs out of power halfway through a ride, you can shift to your preferred chainring at the front, swap the two batteries, and then continue riding without any worries. The batteries have a capacity of approximately 1,000 kilometres or 60 hours of riding time. The charging time for a battery is around 45 minutes. In addition, all components of the SRAM Red eTap groupset are equipped with LED indicators. Green means the battery is fully charged, and red indicates that there is still sufficient capacity remaining. Only when the LED starts flashing red does the battery level approach depletion, leaving around 5 per cent capacity remaining.

The disc is delivered pre-assembled and bled. On request, we can cut the hose to the correct length for your bike and then bleed the brake again, subject to an additional charge.
