Chris King NoThreadSet headset

The Chris King NoThreadSet headset with EC34 upper and lower cups for frames with a 34 mm steerer tube insertion depth and forks with a 1 1/8 inch / 28.6 mm steerer tube diameter.

The headset was developed for tough MTB use and also performs well on road bikes. The bearing cups and cap covers are made from aluminium and CNC-machined; the industrial bearings are double-sealed stainless steel and so well-made that Chris King offers a 10-year warranty on all headsets.

The NoThreadSet headset with the newly developed GripLock cap. The multi-piece cap is fitted with a slotted cone ring, which allows for an even easier connection between the steerer tube and the head tube.

Chris King EC34 External Cup installation dimension:

The EC34 headset is pressed into the head tube. The press-fit dimension in the frame is 34 mm and the steerer tube diameter is 1 1/8 inch / 28.6 mm. The headset cone has an internal diameter of 30 mm.
