Ritchey WCS Drop In Headset

The fully integrated Ritchey WCS Integrated Standard headset top cup, IS41, for frames with a 41 mm bearing seat on the head tube and forks with a 1 1/8 inch / 28.6 mm steerer tube diameter at the top.

The WCS version of the Ritchey headset is fully equipped with high-quality industrial bearings. The well-sealed tapered precision bearing at the bottom and the compact precision bearing at the top are very easy to adjust and run almost without resistance. Unlike press-fit headsets, the Drop In models do not have additional bearing cups but are inserted directly into the frame.

Ritchey WCS headset bearings:

the full-contact bearings with titanium-coated raceways, combined with high-quality, exceptionally smooth balls and Ritchey’s water-repellent special grease, ensure extremely durable bearings.

Fully integrated IS41 headset installation dimensions:

The IS headsets are inserted into the head tube and require no additional bearing cups. The frame / head tube must, of course, have the appropriate mount and bearing seat. The top dimension is 41 mm and the fork steerer tube mount is 28.6 mm, 1 1/8 inches.
