Ritchey Comp Drop In Headset

The fully integrated Ritchey Comp Integrated Standard (IS42) headset, for frames with a 42 mm bearing seat on the head tube and tapered forks with a 1 1/8 inch / 28.6 mm upper and 1.5 inch / 40 mm lower steerer tube diameter

The affordable Comp version of the Ritchey headset is fitted with industrial bearings. The compact precision bearings ensure long-lasting riding enjoyment. The fully integrated IS headsets are inserted into the head tube and do not require an additional bearing cup. The frame / head tube must, of course, have the appropriate mounting, i.e. the bearing seat.

Ritchey Comp headset bearings:

the semi-cartridge bearings with water-repellent Ritchey Special grease ensure robust and durable bearings.

IS42/28.6 headset top clearance:

The top dimension is 42 mm and the fork steerer tube diameter is 28.6 mm (1 1/8 inches).

IS52/340 bottom bearing clearance:

The lower dimension is 52 mm and the headset taper on the fork is 40 mm, 1.5 inches.
