Chris King Hub Quality
The quality of Chris King components is unrivalled. High-precision manufacturing, the sort usually only seen in the medical sector. Chris King hubs have a reputation for being indestructible, and rightly so. The hub bodies are superbly crafted and, thanks to the maximum flange spacing, enable the construction of particularly laterally stiff wheelsets. Rounded off by the high-precision CNC-machined hub body with anodised finish and the multi-sealed industrial bearings. Superb, very light, extremely durable – manufactured by Chris King directly in Oregon, USA.
Chris King stainless steel bearings
Chris King stainless steel bearings are manufactured in Oregon, USA, and each bearing is inspected and assembled by hand. Unlike conventional radial bearings, Chris King builds sealed angular contact ball bearings that self-adjust during use rather than wearing out; like a fine wine or a high-quality guitar, the bearings improve with age. All bearings can be serviced without special tools; simply remove the retaining ring and seal, clean and re-lubricate – for lifelong reliability!
