Fizik Aliante saddle shape:

The Fizik Aliante saddle series, with its semi-circular, rear-rising shape, offers maximum comfort and is designed for a moderately sporty riding position. It is developed for riders who adopt a comfortable, upright riding position and value high levels of comfort. The nose of the saddle is more heavily padded, the seat surface is wider, and the rear of the saddle rises significantly. This ensures good pressure distribution and support in a moderately upright riding position.

Fizik Adaptive:

Advances in digital 3D printing have enabled the development of a new saddle without the constraints or limitations imposed by conventional manufacturing processes and materials. The Adaptive saddle padding is manufactured by Carbon using the revolutionary Digital Light Synthesis technology. DLS is an additive manufacturing process that uses digital ultraviolet light projection, oxygen-permeable optics and programmable liquid resins to produce parts with outstanding mechanical properties, resolution and surface finish. With the help of Carbon’s technology, biomechanics experts and engineers are presented with an unprecedented opportunity: they can design and manufacture multiple functional zones within the saddle and tailor each of these zones separately to specific mechanical properties, with each of these key functional zones featuring characteristic damping and mechanical response that are progressively and seamlessly integrated within the same padding. The saddle is very easy to clean. Even for the worst road grime, all you need to do is hose it down with water. Whatever gets in, comes right back out. We have subjected it to the toughest tests by simulating accelerated weathering, UV ageing and wear resistance in accordance with strict protocols.

Fizik Wing-Flex saddle shell:

Wing Flex technology, a shell that flexes at the sides, allows the cyclist greater freedom of movement in the thighs whilst on the saddle, thereby increasing pedalling power. The Wing Flex shell flexes downwards in the critical area where the inner thighs come into contact with the saddle, enabling a more efficient and complete range of motion when pedalling. Whether the rider has large or narrow thighs, a wide or narrow pelvis: the saddle adapts to the rider, not the rider to the saddle.

Fizik Carbon Braided Frame:

The carbon frame is made from a 3D weave. Its load-bearing capacity is comparable to that of titanium frames and is 50 per cent higher than that of conventional carbon frames. To increase stability, the carbon tubes are ovalised and have a diameter of 9 mm. The saddle frame of the Fizik Aliante allows for adjustment within a range of 85 mm.

Fizik Aliante:

The Tempo Aliante R1 belongs to the new generation of Aliante saddles and retains the key features that have made this saddle family an icon and one of the most comfortable saddles in the entire Fizik range. The Aliante is a contoured saddle with a tapered transition from the wings to the nose. With a slightly wider platform that supports the sit bones, it improves stability and weight distribution for all-day rides. With a focus on comfort, the redesigned Aliante has a flatter surface to distribute pressure more evenly and provide a balanced feel, which is particularly useful on long endurance rides. The Aliante features an ergonomic cut-out developed following detailed analysis and in consultation with medical experts. Its aim: to reduce pressure and promote blood circulation. In addition, the generous padding has been developed using dual-density foam, which is firmer at the sit bones and softer at the nose, to provide every rider with the right support regardless of their riding position, without creating excessive pressure. By the way: the Aliante R1 also saves weight thanks to a newly developed 7x9 mm carbon rail.
