Fizik Thar Saddle

The Fizik Thar saddle is specifically designed for the geometry of 29-inch mountain bikes, but can of course also be fitted to 27.5-inch and 26-inch bikes. Thanks to its short profile (265 mm), the Thar saddle offers optimum comfort with a compact and upright riding position. Tuner inserts allow the rider to vary the saddle’s flex. It features an extremely robust and abrasion-resistant Microtex saddle cover that mud, combined with the constant pedalling motion, has little chance of adhering to. A long, flat saddle nose and the extra-large adjustment range, 95 mm, allow for a wide variety of sitting and saddle positions, thereby providing greater comfort at the tip of the saddle.

Fizik Thar saddle shell:

Very light and comfortable, the nylon saddle shell makes the Fizik Thar exceptionally flexible and offers excellent suspension comfort. The long and flat surface allows the rider to adopt several comfortable riding positions; furthermore, the saddle nose is wide and well-padded, ideal for use on MTBs and also for time trials. A tuner is also included for adjusting the suspension; this can be mounted on the saddle nose to increase flexibility

Fizik Thar K:ium frame:

The frame of the Thar saddle offers excellent cushioning thanks to its wraparound construction at the rear of the saddle. Kium is a special alloy of silicon and chromium. Through a special finishing process, these two elements provide a high degree of corrosion resistance and long-lasting performance. The K:ium frames are 8 per cent lighter and more rigid than conventional titanium frames. The saddle frame of the Fizik Thar allows for a wide adjustment range of 95 mm.
