Prologo Proxim W400 Saddle

The Proxim Sport W400 MTB and e-bike saddle features the innovative Multi Sector System and a new, softer and larger foam insert.

Proxim is the Italian brand’s range of e-bike saddles. It was developed in collaboration with Polyfactory, an interdisciplinary research laboratory at the Polytechnic University of Milan. The Prologo Proxim W400 introduces a new revolutionary technology, the Multi-Sector System: Three distinct zones, positioned along the saddle and separated from one another, each consisting of different interactive foams and individual-cell padding. These zones operate independently of one another and adapt to every position the cyclist may adopt. Designed as a unisex saddle, it is equally suitable for men and women.

Prolog Proxim saddle shape:

the semi-circular shape provides good support both off-road and in the city. Thanks to the Multi-Sector system, the saddle is more flexible at the sides, allowing greater freedom of movement and promoting a dual effect of support and retention during the pedalling phase.

Prologo T2.0 saddle frame:

The T2.0 saddle rail, made from chromium-molybdenum steel, is manufactured to a hardness of HRC 39 and a thickness of +/-2 mm. This offers optimal mechanical properties and a good balance between weight and durability. This saddle rail is round, 7 mm in diameter, and compatible with all standard seatposts

Prologo MSS – Multi Sector System:

This system features various designated and separate zones on the saddle, each comprising different interactive foams and padding within a single separate cell. The zones operate independently and adapt to all positions the cyclist may adopt whilst pedalling.

Active Base System:

A state-of-the-art system that utilises a base with a hole to provide excellent pressure relief and improved pressure distribution thanks to a larger contact surface, whilst ensuring the cyclist is protected from water and mud during the most challenging weather conditions.

Ergonomic Channel:

The central area features a groove which, in combination with the perforated base and active foams, serves to eliminate pressure peaks in the genital and pelvic area.

New foams:

The new, softer and larger foams used in the W400 guarantee a high level of comfort, allowing the cyclist to spend long periods in the saddle. 1 cm thick for the 153 mm version; 1.7 cm thick for the 163 mm version

Prologo Proxim saddle shell:

The saddle shell is made from carbon-injected nylon and features increased thickness for greater flexibility and strength, key characteristics for use in gravity riding.
