RockShox Deluxe Ultimate RCT DebonAir Plus shock

The new RockShox Deluxe Ultimate RCT Cross Country and All Mountain shock, featuring a wider adjustment range and bushing overlap, offers a new, sophisticated shock design that allows for even finer adjustment of the low-speed compression to ensure optimum traction and control. The independently operating pistons allow for fine-tuning to suit every trail and every situation. At the same time, like all Deluxe shocks, the RCT relies on the proven performance of the revolutionary Debon Air technology with Maxima Plush oil.

RockShox Deluxe Ultimate RCT:

The Super Deluxe Ultimate RCT shocks offer two settings: open for maximum performance, and hard with minimal remaining travel for hard, unexpected impacts. Counter Measure technology reduces the shock’s breakaway torque to virtually zero. The innovative shock design with adjustable low-speed compression offers outstanding traction and control.

RockShox DebonAir+:

The new DebonAir Plus system offers the perfect balance between butter-smooth response and support throughout the entire travel. Equipped with two new air chamber options, it allows you to adjust the negative and positive air volumes to find the perfect setup for every bike. The highly adjustable DebonAir Plus air spring offers the ride feel of a steel spring. The DebonAir Plus air chamber in RockShox Deluxe shocks features larger chambers; both the positive and negative chambers are now larger, enabling a smoother response and up to 30 per cent lower breakaway torque. Generally, the spring curve becomes more linear with the DebonAir, and the rear wheel also generates more traction in the DebonAir version and responds even better to small bumps. Additionally, the size of the air chamber can be adjusted using tokens, thereby altering the response.

RockShox Metric Sizing:

Metric Sizing enables suspension and frame manufacturers to significantly simplify the sizing and installation of shock absorbers. At the same time, it offers performance benefits for suspension and frame designs. It also allows for simpler mounting hardware with new mounting options.

RockShox Deluxe Shock Tuning:

The Super Deluxe Ultimate is equipped with Mid Tune Rebound and Mid Tune Compression settings, making it suitable for most frames. The lockout stiffness is 320–380 lb.

RockShox Rapid Recovery:

Thanks to the Rapid Recovery system, the shock returns to its original position more quickly after successive impacts, allowing the bike to maintain more precise traction. This more active damping system does not fail and ensures a ride with higher and softer spring stiffness. With Rapid Recovery, the rider benefits from greater travel for a smoother and more controlled ride with every impact.

Trunnion shock mount:

On frames with a trunnion shock mount, the shock head is bolted directly to the frame; only the shaft features the classic eye for mounting the shock bushing. This mount allows for a more compact design. The frame must be designed to accommodate this. These shocks are not compatible with standard frames.

PLEASE NOTE: To fit a shock, the mounting bushings are required to adapt to the respective frame. We offer these bushings separately. Please ensure that the bushings fit exactly. If possible, determine the required measurement using a caliper. The trunnion mounting bolts are part of the frame and are usually supplied with the frame/bike.
