Pike Dirt Jump suspension fork | FS-PIKE-DJ-A4
The RockShox Pike DJ is the new dirt suspension fork with 35 mm stanchions, 100 mm travel, Charger damping and separate external low-speed compression adjustment. To meet the growing demands of dirt jump tracks and the increasing level of tricks, the DJ version of the Pike features 100 or 140 mm of travel and a modified Charger damper that prevents the fork from bottoming out on jumps. For the landing, there is a particularly progressive Solo Air spring.
Adjustment via the robust, click-stop aluminium adjustment knobs is quick and easy to understand. The low-friction anodised 35 mm-thick stanchions and the sturdy lower legs of the Pike DJ suspension fork provide the stiffness expected of good dirt jump suspension forks today.
RockShox Pike DJ Charger:
The RockShox Pike DJ suspension fork features the Charger damper with a smaller air chamber and a more progressive spring rate. With the help of the so-called bladder – a sac that absorbs the oil volume during compression and supports the rebound – oil foaming is prevented during rapid compression and high damping loads. This prevents oil and air from mixing, ensuring consistent, perfect damping performance. The new design also makes replacing the seals easier, as the lubricating oil no longer comes into direct contact with the damping oil. Road use.
RockShox Pike Solo Air suspension system:
The Solo Air system, featuring external rebound adjustment and external low-speed compression adjustment, can be adjusted quickly and easily. Air pressure is automatically distributed between the positive and negative chambers depending on the riding situation. This ensures you have full travel available in every situation.
RockShox Pike Rapid Recovery:
Thanks to the Rapid Recovery system, the shock returns to its original position more quickly after successive impacts, enabling the bike to maintain more precise traction. This more active damping system does not fail and ensures a ride with higher and softer suspension stiffness. With Rapid Recovery, the rider benefits from greater suspension travel for a smoother and more controlled ride with every impact.
RockShox Bottomless Tokens:
By inserting the optionally available volume spacers, the air volume in the fork can be reduced, thereby influencing the suspension characteristics. A smoother response with higher end-stroke progression is achieved by using the volume spacers.
RockShox Maxle Lite 15 thru-axle:
The thru-axle system offers greater stiffness with low weight; compatible only with wheelsets designed for this purpose.
