Schwalbe AddixGreen

Schwalbe’s most environmentally friendly rubber compound offering consistent performance, containing 80% renewable raw materials and recycled materials. The universal compound with the widest range of applications. Ideal for XC, AM and trail: most performance tyres are available in an ADDIX version. It replaces the previous PaceStar compound – not the only difference, but a significant one during intensive use: greater mileage and longer service life. Addix, the universal compound. It offers the widest possible range of applications. Plenty of everything: speed, grip and durability. Combining all three characteristics perfectly in a single compound – that’s actually hardly possible. But with ADDIX, Schwalbe has now succeeded – at a level they hadn’t previously thought possible

Schwalbe Tubeless Ready:

Tyres with the TLR designation can be easily converted to the tubeless standard using sealant. Also suitable for hookless rims.

• Lower rolling resistance. There is no friction between the tyre and the inner tube. This significantly reduces rolling resistance.
• More grip. Tubeless tyres can be ridden at lower air pressure without any loss of performance. This brings noticeable benefits in terms of comfort, but also significantly more control in critical situations and on poor terrain.
• High puncture resistance. Tubeless systems offer very high puncture resistance. Sudden air loss due to burst inner tubes or broken valves is impossible. At the same time, a puncture protection sealant (e.g. Schwalbe Doc Blue) seals punctures within tenths of a second whilst riding.
