Vittoria Mezcal Gravel Endurance Tyre

The Mezcal Gravel combines proven cross-country technology with the demands of gravel and cross-country riding. The Mezcal really comes into its own on technical sections: thanks to its sophisticated sipe technology, the tread adapts to larger pebbles, roots and tarmac, preventing the tyre from slipping or spinning. Instead, the contact points are reinforced and the tyre pulls you forward. The Mezcal Gravel’s graphene compound is faster and lighter than pure rubber, whilst the robust, flexible Endurance nylon carcass with additional puncture protection in the tread centre and on the sidewalls ensures outstanding durability.

Vittoria Graphene 2.0 Technology:

To push the boundaries of what is possible in the world of bicycle tyres once again, Vittoria has driven the development of a new generation of graphene: GRAPHENE 2.0. Unlike first-generation graphene, the new Graphene 2.0 is functionalised, meaning it has been adapted to deliver specific desirable properties to enhance the tyres’ performance. In other words, whilst the first generation of graphene compounds raised the bar across the board, Graphene 2.0 boosts precisely the desired performance parameters disproportionately compared to the rest. Vittoria Nylon Casing:

Nylon is a robust and durable synthetic fibre traditionally used for strong tyre casings. Nylon threads are thicker than cotton threads, meaning the casing has a lower thread count per inch. The advantage of a nylon carcass is that it is strong and durable and has a longer service life. However, as it is a synthetic fibre, it is not as supple as cotton.
