Continental Argotal: the pronounced centre knobs feature steep angles to achieve mechanical grip through the interaction between the tread and the ground. Advantage: reliable grip on loose and mixed surfaces. Open tread pattern for perfect interaction on loose surfaces. Advantage: good self-cleaning in damp and wet conditions. Twisted, linearly arranged shoulder lugs with a support structure for high stability, even when riding aggressively through tight, fast corners. Advantage: high mechanical grip, especially on loose surfaces.

Continental Endurance Black Chili Compound:

The rubber compound with balanced grip, durability and rolling characteristics. The Endurance compound offers high durability combined with good rolling resistance and grip. This compound is suitable for trail bikes or, due to its low wear, as an endurance compound for e-bikes too. For Black Chili, Conti refines specially developed synthetic rubbers with proven natural rubber to create particularly high-performance tread compounds. Continental adds nano-scale carbon particles to these rubbers, optimising their shape and surface properties to tailor the compound to the tyre’s specific application.

Continental Trail Casing:

The three-ply 180 TPI carcass with puncture protection insert is optimised for trail use. The reinforced sidewalls ensure excellent puncture protection. The Endurance compound is suitable for trail bikes and, thanks to its low wear, is also ideal for e-bikes

Continental Tubeless Ready:

This tyre range is Tubeless Ready. The Revolution Tubeless Ready bead allows for easy and straightforward tyre fitting. Thanks to the high puncture resistance of the Protection casing, these tyres are recommended for lightweight and puncture-resistant tubeless set-ups. For optimal sealing and performance, the use of the new Continental RevoSealant is recommended.
