The Conti Mountain King All Mountain tyre features a puncture-resistant ProTection carcass, is tubeless-ready and utilises the particularly grippy and smooth-rolling Black Chili rubber compound,

Equipped with reinforced shoulder knobs and particularly smooth-rolling centre knobs, the Mountain King offers outstanding traction as well as very direct steering response. In faster corners, the Mountain King is supported by a chain of outer knobs that provide confidence even in the most adverse conditions. Superb braking traction and optimal lateral guidance guarantee fabulous grip on any terrain. The siped knobs were developed in collaboration with professional mountain bikers using the latest findings.

Continental ProTection:

the new ProTection generation, recommended for upgrading to lightweight tubeless-ready tyres using Conti RevoSealant. Self-damping and rolling characteristics have also been further improved. The more robust, yet lighter and more flexible carcass adapts better to the terrain. This improves traction and rolling resistance. The design has also changed. Instead of a brown DuraSkin sidewall, ProTection tyres now come entirely in black with a continuous flag design.

Continental Black Chili Compound:

this is the name of the new, revolutionary rubber compound, which is based on the latest findings in polymer and raw materials research. For Black Chili, Conti combines newly developed synthetic rubbers with proven natural rubber to create particularly high-performance tread compounds. Continental adds nano-scale carbon black particles to these rubbers, optimising their shape and surface properties to tailor the compound to the tyre’s specific application.

Continental Tubeless Ready:

the Protection tyre range is Tubeless Ready. The Revolution Tubeless Ready bead enables easy and straightforward tyre fitting. Thanks to the high puncture resistance of the Protection carcass, these tyres are recommended for lightweight and puncture-resistant tubeless tyres. For optimum sealing and performance, the use of the new Continental RevoSealant is recommended

E-bike compatible For its e-bike tyres, Conti draws on over 100 years of experience in moped and motorcycle tyres. All E25 tyres meet the standard for speeds up to 25 km/h. Tyres marked E50 are also approved for S-pedelecs. With their high-quality construction, they offer excellent puncture protection, low rolling resistance and protection against premature wear caused by the additional drive force.
