Maxxis Aspen Tyre

Are you looking for an all-round racing tyre that rolls very well, is very light, but also offers grip in almost all situations? The ASPEN is MAXXIS’ answer to this requirement profile. In the centre of the tread, closely spaced, slightly angled sipes alternate with small, bevelled block treads. This redefines the ideal combination of high traction and smooth rolling. Viewed in the direction of travel, the side treads run in pairs from the outside to the inside. This special arrangement provides significantly more grip in corners.

EXO Protection

This extremely cut- and abrasion-resistant material protects the sidewalls of various MTB tyres. It is very densely woven, lightweight and highly flexible. As a result, the tyres’ performance remains consistently impressive.

Two different rubber compounds are processed into a single tread strip. We plan the arrangement of the compounds according to the desired characteristics of the tyres.

Tubeless Ready, TR

Tubeless tyres offer many advantages: you can ride with lower air pressure. This provides better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And with no inner tube, the risk of punctures is also reduced. MAXXIS TR tyres are better prepared for fitting with sealant than other Tubeless Ready tyres. As with a genuine UST tubeless tyre, the bead of TR tyres is completely covered with a rubber layer. This ensures that tubeless fitting on all rims of standard dimensions is successful from the very first inflation and with minimal sealant
