Vittoria Rubino V Tyre
With the latest version of the Rubino, Vittoria continues the success story of what is arguably its most versatile road tyre. The updated Rubino V features a fresh tread pattern, a new rubber compound and a revised construction. As a result, this popular training and touring tyre retains its core characteristics whilst also offering improved rolling resistance and wet grip. This is made possible by the combination of graphene and silica compounds, similar to the race-oriented Corsa range. Unlike its predecessor, it also features a stronger nylon carcass, which now has a reinforced contact area with the rim in addition to the puncture protection belt.
Vittoria Graphene + Silica Technology:
The Graphene + Silica race compound is a high-performance blend developed for professional-level racing. It offers an optimal balance between speed and grip, maximum efficiency on the straights and confident handling in corners.
Vittoria Nylon Carcass:
Nylon is a robust and durable synthetic fibre traditionally used for strong tyre casings. Nylon threads are thicker than cotton threads, meaning the casing has a lower thread count per inch. The advantage of a nylon casing is that it is strong and durable and has a longer service life. However, as it is a synthetic fibre, it is not as supple as cotton.
