THE ULTIMATE WHEEL TIRE SYSTEM

The Aero 111 tyre is the perfect result of the collaboration between DT Swiss, Continental and Swiss Side. The patented tread with specially designed aero segments reduces air resistance and thus optimises the gliding effect. Furthermore, the AERO 111 scores highly with outstanding grip, minimised rolling resistance and excellent puncture protection.

DT Swiss ER 1600 Spline 30 DB:

Continental Aero 111:

AERO 111: The next generation of aerodynamic road tyre performance, developed in close collaboration with the experts at DT Swiss and Swiss Side. The AERO 111 is based on the race-proven technologies of the GP5000 TR series and sets new standards in aerodynamics. The race-optimised Black Chili Compound ensures excellent grip and lower rolling resistance, whilst the proven Vectran Breaker provides puncture protection. The patented, aerodynamically optimised tread design features 48 precision-moulded air chambers. These so-called ‘vortex generators’ create controlled turbulence, causing the airflow to cling to the rim for longer, which reduces drag and optimises handling in crosswinds.

DT Swiss ER 1600 Disc Rims

Aero rims with a 30 mm profile height and 22 mm rim width for folding and clincher tyres from 25–40 mm wide. The modern 26 mm wide Tubeless Ready rim is very stable and lightweight thanks to the use of the PHR nipple system. The Hooked / Crotchet tubeless TC rim profile also keeps wide tyres securely on the rim. The rims are supplied with tubeless rim tape already fitted.

DT Swiss Straight Pull Spokes

To achieve an ideal balance of weight and stability, only the highest quality straight-pull spokes are used in SPLINE wheelsets. They are more stable than conventional spokes yet can still be trued and replaced using standard tools.

DT Swiss ER 1600 Disc rims

DT Swiss ER 1600 Spline DB hubs

The DT Swiss Spline Disc hubs, featuring a Centerlock brake disc mount, an optimised hub shell for straight-pull spokes and the proven Ratchet Star freehub system based on the DT Swiss 350 hubs, are exceptionally durable and can be serviced and converted without tools. Designed for thru-axle mounting, the DT Swiss PR 1600 Spline wheelsets can be converted to fit all standard axle systems, including quick-release mounts.

DT Swiss Ratchet Freewheel:

The tried-and-tested DT Swiss Ratchet sprocket body system allows for easy conversion to various axle or rotor standards. The multi-tooth ratchet sprocket body with 36-tooth gearing ensures loss-free power transmission. The rear hubs can be converted to Campagnolo ED or N3W, Shimano HG or Micro Spline and Sram XD freehub bodies without the need for tools.
