The DT Swiss ERC 1400 WTS endurance and all-road wheelset series with 29 and 30 mm wide Conti Aero 111 / Grand Grix 500S tyres. The 35 mm high and 28.5 mm wide elliptical full-carbon rims with a 22 mm rim depth allow the use of wide, excellent-rolling tubeless tyres; the asymmetrical construction provides very high lateral stiffness for maximum steering precision, and a weight of just 1477 grams ensures outstanding acceleration.

Conti AERO 111 tyres:

The AERO 111 is based on the race-proven technologies of the GP5000 TR series and sets new standards in aerodynamics. The race-optimised Black Chili Compound ensures excellent grip and lower rolling resistance, whilst the proven Vectran Breaker provides puncture protection. The patented, aerodynamically optimised tread design features 48 precision-moulded air chambers. These so-called ‘vortex generators’ create controlled turbulence, causing the airflow to cling to the rim for longer, which reduces drag and optimises handling in crosswinds.

DT Swiss ERC 1400 Dicut Hub Compatibility:

The hub of the DT ARC 1400 Dicut Disc front wheel is compatible with 9x100 quick-release mounts and 12x100 mm thru-axles; the hub of the DT ERC 1400 Dicut Disc rear wheel is compatible with quick-release mounts and 12x142 mm thru-axles. In combination with the Shimano HG11 freehub body, thru-bolt and 10x135 mm endstops are also available.

DT Swiss ERC 1400 Dicut hubs:

The ERC Dicut hubs, based on DT Swiss 240 EXP hub technology, are perfectly matched to the Nail Häd spoke system and offer the best aerodynamics of all DT Swiss hubs. Equipped with high-quality stainless steel bearings and a wider flange spacing for optimum lateral stiffness at low weight. The ratchet body with the Ratchet Star EXP ratchet is virtually maintenance-free and easy to convert.

DT Swiss ERC 1400 Dicut rims:

The ERC 1400 carbon rims, developed entirely in collaboration with Swiss Side, offer excellent handling thanks to their low weight and good aerodynamics in all wind conditions. Extensively tested and optimised in the wind tunnel, the ERC 1400 rims offer the best compromise between aerodynamics and handling. The finish is applied using a new process and does not affect aerodynamics in any way. With a 22 mm inner rim width, they are ideal for tyres from 25 mm wide and, of course, tubeless-ready.

DT Swiss ERC 1400 Dicut spokes:

The lacing pattern, featuring the Nail Head System and straight-pull spokes, ensures that the spokes cannot twist under load, meaning they always remain at the most aerodynamically favourable angle. The DT Swiss Aerocomp spokes, in combination with the internal Prolock Hidden spoke nipples, ensure outstanding aerodynamics.

DT Swiss EXP Star Ratchet Freehub:

The proven DT Swiss Star Ratchet System in the new EXP version, featuring a toothed disc freehub body, allows for easy conversion to various axle or rotor standards. The integration of the toothed disc and threaded ring reduces the number of components and thus lowers the weight. A single coil spring ensures faster, complete engagement and therefore greater reliability.
