Fulcrum Racing 5 wheelset

The affordable Fulcrum Racing 5 wheelset with 23 mm wide rims. Thanks to a new design, the tried-and-tested Racing 5 wheelset now delivers even better performance.

Fulcrum Racing 5 rims:

The C17 rims with a 17 mm rim width allow for wider tyres, which reduces rolling resistance. The Racing 5 wheels have rims of different heights: 24.5 mm at the front and 27.5 mm at the rear. This saves weight and offers even greater stiffness with lower weight. The wide rims provide even more stiffness. The rear rim is asymmetrical to ensure even spoke tension. The machined brake tracks improve braking performance.

Fulcrum Racing 5 hubs:

The Racing 5 hubs are designed entirely as oversize hubs and feature flanges for straight-head spokes. Smooth operation is guaranteed by high-quality sealed deep-groove ball bearings. The new monoblock freehub body combines the freehub body and pawl carrier into a single component, resulting in significant weight savings.

Fulcrum Racing 5 spokes:

The number of stainless steel aero spokes, now with straight heads and a tapered 2-1.5-2 cross-section, has been reduced to 18 on the front wheel and 20 on the rear wheel. The front wheel is radially laced. The patented Fulcrum 2:1 Two-to-One Spoke Ratio lacing system is used for the rear wheel.
