In 1982, SILCA developed the first regulated CO2 inflator. As Claudio himself explained: ‘Before EOLO, you had to turn the cartridge upside down and pray!’ Enabling the user to regulate the flow of gas into the tyre was the key to the widespread adoption of pressurised gas for roadside use.

The EOLO 3 builds on the SILCA tradition and uses an ultra-precise coil valve design with a light-touch spring to give the user perfect control over the flow into the tyre. The all-metal construction of the EOLO III contains no plastic parts and is made entirely from 6063 series aluminium and stainless steel. The piercing pin, made from hardened tool steel, is more than twice as hard as conventional piercing pins, ensuring smooth operation in all conditions for many years to come.
