DT Swiss XR 391 Disc rim, 29 inches, colour: black, 32-hole
DT Swiss XR 391 rim
The lightweight aluminium rim from DT Swiss, the XR 391 MTB rim for racing use. Thanks to extensive FEM analyses, the DT Swiss XR 391 rim features material only where it is actually needed. These rims are supplied with special DT Squorx Pro Head nipples and must only be laced using these nipples. With the XR 391 rim, DT Swiss offers a rim for cross-country racers that also performs well on the trail. Cleanly finished, with a welded bead and a glass bead-blasted, anodised finish, the DT Swiss XR 391 offers extremely low weight combined with good strength. Recommended for a combined weight of rider and bike of no more than 110 kg.
DT Swiss Squorx Pro Head spoke nipples:
The DT Squorx Pro Head nipple combines ease of installation, light weight and top performance in a single product. The Torx head makes lacing flat spokes a breeze. The spherical contact area ensures perfect alignment with the spoke, whilst the square section allows for easy re-centring using standard tools whilst the tyre is fitted. With the XR 391 rims, these nipples are included in the scope of delivery, along with a washer that is fitted between the nipple and the rim bed. This ensures even pressure distribution and long-lasting durability
DT Swiss Tubeless Ready:
The DT Swiss XR 391 rims are equipped with rim flanges adapted for tubeless rim tape and can be easily upgraded to lightweight tubeless rims using DT Swiss tubeless rim tape
