Shimano RTMT800 Centerlock brake disc

The Shimano XT RT-MT800 Ice Tech Centerlock brake discs on the 4- or 5-star aluminium carrier are manufactured using a sandwich construction. The aluminium core is encased by the steel braking surface. This reduces heat build-up by a good 25 per cent and increases the durability of the Shimano MTB disc brakes. The redesigned Ice Tech Freeza brake discs at Deore XT level, RT-MT800, have been engineered to ensure maximum heat dissipation, resulting in more consistent braking performance and longer pad life.

External locking ring:

This lockring, featuring external tool teeth, can be fitted to all hub types, from 20 mm thru-axles to quick-release mounts

External spline lockring with external screw connection – tool holder, 44 mm outer diameter, 16-tooth spline. A Hollowtech II tool such as the Shimano TL-FC36, TL-FC32 or TL-FC33 is required to fit the Center-Lock lockring.
