Disc Brake Pads Shimano B05S RX
The Shimano B05 Resin disc brake pad offers excellent modulation thanks to its relatively soft compound. The B05S pads are quieter than comparable Shimano metal pads. We recommend the B05S for all beginners and frequent cyclists looking for good modulation and excellent value for money.

Quad Disc Brake
The brake pads must be bedded in to achieve optimum braking power and durability
- Step 1: On a moderately steep descent, apply the front and rear brakes alternately for 20–30 seconds. Repeat
this process 2–3 times. - Step 2: On a steeper descent, let both brakes drag alternately for 10–15 seconds each, stopping the bike almost completely. Repeat
this process 2–3 times. - Pro tip: Break in the rear brake pads on the front wheel. Follow the procedure described above. Then fit the pads to the rear. On a flat surface, let them run briefly 2–3 times. Caution: Before replacing the pads, ensure they have cooled down sufficiently: risk of burns!
