SwissStop Disc34RS disc brake pads, extra quiet, Pair & Fair, 2 pairs, including springs and split pins, for Shimano road bike, gravel and MTB disc brakes with two-piston flat-mount calipers
Disc Brake Pads SwissStop 34RS Pair & Fair
The SwissStop RS disc pads offer powerful and consistent braking performance. The brake pads deliver strong braking performance and offer a balanced combination of performance characteristics. The RS pads are extremely quiet in all conditions. The compound is silent in wet, dry, snowy and icy conditions. The carrier plate, made from a steel alloy and just 1.6 mm thick, saves weight compared to traditional designs – yet retains the beneficial thermal properties as well as the strength and stability of steel. The thinner carrier plate is fitted with additional pad compound, thereby extending the service life of the disc pad.

IMPORTANT: The brake pads must be bedded in to achieve optimum braking power and durability
Step 1: On a moderately steep descent, apply the front and rear brakes alternately for 20–30 seconds. Repeat
this process 2–3 times.
Step 2: On a steeper descent, let both brakes drag alternately for 10–15 seconds each, stopping the bike almost completely. Repeat
this process 2–3 times.
Pro tip: Break in the rear brake pads on the front wheel. Follow the instructions above. Then fit the pads to the rear. On a flat surface, let them run briefly 2–3 times. Caution: Before replacing the pads, ensure they have cooled down sufficiently: risk of burns!
SWISSSTOP PAIR & FAIR PROJECT:
PAIR & FAIR is an innovative SwissStop project featuring a new delivery option of two pairs of pads per pack and the introduction of a more environmentally friendly, FAIRER paper-based packaging design. In addition, SwissStop donates to the global effort to remove plastic from waterways. By packaging two complete sets of brake pads in a single box, we can halve the amount of packaging material required. This significantly reduces the environmental impact of the packaging itself, whilst also improving the efficiency of storage, transport and retail space. Each PAIR & FAIR box contains four brake pads as well as the springs, screws and clips required for installation. The construction is made from 100% paper and the materials are fully FSC-certified. This new design represents a significant step forward in the sustainability of our product packaging.
