Formula T1 FCS disc brake without adapter and brake disc, fully pre-assembled, sold out
The Formula T1 disc brake, the lightest disc brake approved for downhill use, featuring a new caliper and the FCS kit for adjusting the bite point. Weighing just 220 grams for the brake lever, hose and caliper including pads, the Formula The One is currently arguably the lightest DH-approved disc brake on the market.
The Formula T1 brake lever, featuring a new, larger reservoir, is equipped with the tool-free FCS bite point and lever reach adjustment. The two-piece aluminium brake lever can be fitted in seconds. The new position of the bleed screws allows for filling and bleeding whilst the lever is fitted. The flip-flop lever allows for installation on the right or left. The extremely compact, patented cylinder design within the brake lever enables the slim profile. Handlebar clamps are available as an option in the Matchmaker version for direct mounting of SRAM Trigger shift levers.
reinforced with steel braiding for low weight and excellent pressure point
The Enhanced Caliper Technology of the new Formula brake calipers offers greater clearance to the disc, thereby simplifying installation. The compact, one-piece forged brake caliper with dual-piston technology and 24 mm brake pistons delivers outstanding braking power and, thanks to its open design, excellent ventilation. Easy brake pad replacement without removing the disc.
The extremely robust, semi-metallic brake pads guarantee maximum braking performance. Pads can be replaced without removing the disc.
Formula uses Dot 4 brake fluid for the THe One brakes. This is extremely heat and pressure resistant
Approved for Cross Mountain, All Mountain, Enduro and, of course, DH use.
Included in delivery: Formula T1 FSC front brake, hose and all necessary screws. We supply the Formula T1 brakes fully pre-assembled, bled and, of course, with a full manufacturer’s warranty.
