Magura Spacer

The 3 mm spacer is required to mount IS 2000 brake calipers on hubs

with thru-axles. Precise alignment of the brake caliper is essential for the correct, squeak-free installation of disc brakes. With the IS 2000 Standard, the brake caliper is bolted on from the side. To ensure the correct distance from the disc, shims are usually required.

Magura’s compensation spacers are manufactured with extreme precision to enable a clean and friction-free installation of disc brakes. This explains the relatively high price for these otherwise unassuming shims.
