Avid Code disc brake pads (metal version), 2007–2010 models.

The Avid Code disc brake pads (metal version) are supplied with the Code brakes. These pads are characterised by their high durability.

Compatible only with Avid Code disc brakes, model years 2007–2011. These brake pads do not fit Avid Juicy Five, Seven, Carbon and Ultimate disc brakes. Disc brakes of this type require the smaller Juicy pads.

You can only ensure the Avid Juicy disc brakes function properly by using genuine Avid disc brake pads. New to the range are the Organic brake pads for Juicy disc brakes. These are slightly softer than the standard pads, offer significantly better bite, but wear out slightly faster. Special brake pads are required for the Avid Juicy Code DH Disc. These are larger than the standard Juicy pads and are not compatible with the Avid Juicy Ultimate, Carbon, Seven and Five brakes. The pads for the Juicy Code are also available in the Organic and the harder metal compound versions.
