Magura HS33 R rim brake

The new HS33 R is the first hydraulic rim brake with a radial design. With increased braking power, reduced weight and perfect ergonomics, it is the ideal choice for both urban and off-road use – whether on an e-bike, pedelec or a classic bicycle.
The new composite brake lever can be mounted on either the left or right side thanks to the split handlebar clamp. The pressure point adjustment is easily accessible behind the brake lever, and thanks to a new mounting plate, vibrations are suppressed even more effectively.

The EVO 2 system with the new adapter makes installation much easier and now accommodates tyres up to 2.25” wide. The Magura HS 33 brakes are supplied with an additional booster. The Magura HS 33 brake has been on the market for over 10 years and has established itself as the benchmark for rim brakes. Excellent modulation and high, consistent braking power have contributed greatly to the popularity of this braking system.

The hydraulic power transmission transfers your hand force to the rim without any loss. Changing the brake pads is simple and can be done in a few minutes without tools. The alternative to V-brakes or as a rear brake in combination with a disc brake, if the frame itself does not have a disc brake mount.
