Spare parts: Shimano Deore XT CS M8000 cassette
The Shimano XT 11-speed cassette CS M8000 is available in three gear ratios: 11-40, 11-42 and 11-46 teeth. This cassette consists of 5 individual sprockets and 2 sprocket blocks. With sprocket blocks (item nos. Y1RK98050 and Y1RK98070), you can convert an 11-42 cassette to the 11-46 range.
Shimano manufactures specific sprockets with different shift profiles for almost every cassette ratio. Therefore, the replacement sprockets and sprocket blocks are perfectly matched only within the specified ratio range. If you mix sprockets from different ratio ranges, shifting performance may deteriorate significantly.
