The result is the Helix Race 13-52 T – a 12-speed cassette with a close-ratio gear range, designed specifically for steep terrain with high climbing speeds and gravity-driven descents. The small 13-tooth sprocket, combined with a 32-tooth chainring, delivers speeds of just over 20 km/h at a cadence of 85 rpm – just beyond the speed-limited assistance of most e-bikes. The smallest gear with 52 gears and the closer gear ratios help the rider tackle the most technical climbs with newfound ease. Although the Helix R 13-52 was developed for e-bikes, it also enhances the riding experience for non-e-bike riders by enabling all cyclists to optimise their cadence on steep climbs and let gravity do the work on descents. Like all e*thirteen Helix cassettes, the Helix Race 13-52t is seamlessly compatible with SRAM, Shimano and TRP shifters and derailleurs of the same gear range and with similar cage capacity. e thirteen Helix Race Cassette Compatibility:

The e thirteen Helix cassette is compatible with SRAM and Shimano 12-speed shifters, chains and rear derailleurs. These cassettes are not approved for use on e-bikes.

XD Driver Body:

The Helix Race cassettes from e-thirteen feature the SRAM XD cassette mount. Compatible only with rear wheels featuring the special XD freehub body; not compatible with HG or Micro Spline freehub bodies. A 2 mm spacer ring is also required for mounting on SRAM XDR freehub bodies.
