Stronglight Osymetric chainring

When using conventionally shaped chainrings, a rider must constantly adjust the force applied during a crank rotation in order to maintain a constant acceleration. The non-circular shape of the O.Symetric chainrings is designed to counteract this. The special shape evens out the force required at different crank positions, enabling a smoother pedalling motion. The result is a smoother pedalling motion, which reduces strain on the rider and frees up capacity for greater power output.

O.Symetric chainrings

5-arm compact, 110 mm bolt circle

The chainrings with a 110 mm bolt circle are compatible with Shimano cranksets up to 2009 and SRAM 9- and 10-speed groupsets. You can easily determine the bolt circle by measuring the distance between two adjacent chainring bolts and multiplying this value by 1.7.
