TA Specialite Zelito chainring, small, 74-tooth chainline, 26 teeth, black
TA Specialite Zelito chainring, 74 mm bolt circle
The standard bolt pattern is the original MTB bolt pattern. The smallest chainring that can be fitted is a 24-tooth model, whilst the largest can accommodate up to 56 teeth. MTB cranksets with the standard bolt pattern were produced until the late 1990s; one of the last models was the Shimano XTR crankset with a 5-bolt chainring mount.
Compatible with 8-, 9- and 10-speed road bike and MTB cranksets:
The standard chainrings are designed for 9-speed chains, but can also be used without any problems with 8- and 10-speed chains and cranksets. On the cranksets, the spacing between the chainrings is determined by the crank arms. Therefore, it does not matter whether you use 8-speed, 9-speed or 10-speed chainrings.
Please note that the gap between the individual chainrings should not exceed 12 teeth. Otherwise, you will have to accept a reduction in shifting performance. For chainring setups with the largest chainring from 46 teeth upwards, please use Shimano’s XT front derailleur with a compatible cage. Road bike front derailleurs generally shift up to 55 teeth without any problems.
