Wolf Tooth Drop Stop A Chainring

This single-chainring has been specially developed for converting Sram XX1, Specialized Stout or Cannondale cranksets with a symmetrical 76 mm bolt pattern. This allows existing chainring combinations to be converted to single-chainring drivetrains. This saves weight and ensures a clean look. It is compatible with all 9-11-speed chains from all manufacturers and 12-speed chains from SRAM, Campagnolo, KMC, Connex and Wipperman.

Wolf Tooth’s patented Drop Stop A narrow-wide tooth profile offers the ultimate in chain guidance and self-cleaning. The right-hand side of the tooth is as wide as possible to maximise the contact area with the chain. More contact area means that the load is distributed over a larger surface, which in turn reduces wear. The left side of the tooth is narrower than the chain’s roller pin, so Wolf Tooth has removed excess material to create a channel through which dirt can drain away. More contact area and space, in turn, means a lower likelihood of the chain falling off due to dirt whilst riding.
