KMC X11SL Ti-N derailleur chain, pre-waxed

KMC chains feature a very slim design, known as ‘lean construction’. In addition to being lighter, this design offers exceptionally smooth running and fewer chain jams. The Double X-Durability treatment involves a process in which all parts of the chain are specially hardened. This treatment makes the pins, in particular, highly resistant to dust and sand, significantly extending the chain’s lifespan. In a complex process, the plates of the SL chains are milled out and riveted with hollow pins. This achieves a significant weight saving without compromising stability or service life. They are extremely light and highly durable. The KMC Titanium Nitride coating is one of the hardest surface treatments in the industry. The surface is extremely low-friction and very easy to maintain.

The chain locks (missing links) for the 11-speed chains allow for simple and secure installation. A standard chain tool is required to shorten the KMC chains to the correct length. The new 11-speed missing links are reusable.
