Wheels Manufacturing Bottom Bracket

These bottom brackets from Wheels Manufacturing allow MTB and road cranks with a 30 mm BB386Evo axle to be fitted into frames with BB86.5, BB92, BB104, BB107 and Trek Pressfit 90 bottom bracket shells with a width of 86.5 mm to 107 mm and a press-fit depth of 41 mm.

Wheels Enduro ABEC3 stainless steel ball bearings:

As space constraints prevent the use of bolted-together outboard bearing cups in these bearings, Wheels MFG uses particularly durable and high-quality double-row 440C stainless steel ball bearings for these bottom brackets. The Wheels Enduro ABEC3 ball bearings offer very high precision. The balls are twice as round as standard industrial bearings, with a roundness tolerance of 10 / 1,000,000. The ball material, 52100 high-carbon chromium alloy, is extremely robust and specially hardened. It is also polished to a high gloss.

30 mm crank axles

Cranksets with a continuous 30 mm axle are available from various manufacturers, e.g. the Cane Creek eeWings, FSA BB386EVO, e*thriteen, Race Face Cinch 30, Sram EVO 386 and Rotor 30. These crank axles are longer than the axles of BB30 cranks (at least 104 mm) and can therefore also be fitted to frames with bottom bracket shells 79–92 mm wide.

BB86 bottom bracket shells:

BB86 bottom bracket shells have a width of 86 mm and a press-fit depth of 41 mm. These bottom brackets are only compatible with road bike cranksets. These bottom brackets are press-fitted.

BB92 bottom bracket shells:

BB92 bottom bracket shells have a width of 89 to 92 mm and a press-fit depth of 41 mm. These bottom brackets are only compatible with MTB cranksets. These bottom brackets are press-fitted.

Pressfit 90 Trek bottom bracket shells:

The Pressfit 90 bottom bracket shells on Trek frames have a width of 90 mm and a press-fit depth of 41 mm. These bottom brackets are press-fit.

BB104/107 bottom bracket shells:

The BB104 and BB107 bottom bracket shells have a width of 104 mm and 107 mm respectively, and a press-fit depth of 41 mm. These widths are only compatible with MTB cranksets featuring long DH axles. These bottom brackets are press-fit.

The Wheels WRENCH-BB48-44 tool is required for installation. The standard Hollowtech tool does not fit. Not compatible with BB30 cranks
