Bottom Bracket Wheels Manufacturing

The classic BSA bottom brackets from Wheels Manufacturing allow Sram and Truvative road bike cranksets with a 24/22 mm GXP axle to be fitted to frames with BSA bottom bracket shells measuring 68 mm in width.

SRAM cranksets with the GXP axle system have a narrower axle diameter on the non-drive side (22 mm) than Shimano Hollowtech II cranksets. Therefore, these bottom brackets are only compatible with SRAM GXP road bike cranksets

Wheels Enduro ABEC3 ball bearings:

The Wheels Enduro ABEC3 ball bearings offer very high precision. The balls are twice as round as standard industrial bearings, with a roundness tolerance of 10 / 1,000,000. The ball material, 52100 high-carbon chromium alloy, is extremely robust and specially hardened. It is also polished to a high gloss. Equipped with double silicone seals, double lip seals and heavy-duty grease, these bearings guarantee excellent durability.

Sram GXP Axle System:

The SRAM GXP crankset system with different axle diameters. The outer diameter of the axle on the drive side is 24 mm and 22 mm on the left side. GXP-compatible bottom brackets are required for this.

BSA threaded bottom bracket shells

The BSA bottom bracket shells have a width of 68–73 mm and a 1.370 × 24 TPI thread, with an outer diameter of 34.8 mm, into which the bearing cups are screwed. Both bearing cups are screwed in the direction of travel. Adjustment to the different shell widths is achieved using the shims included in the scope of delivery.

Wheels Outboard bottom bracket compatibility:

Compatible with SRAM GXP road bike cranksets with a 24 mm axle, reduced to 22 mm on the non-drive side. A Hollowtech II/GXP-compatible bottom bracket tool is required for installation, such as the TL-FC32 or TL-FC33
