Shimano DXR bottom bracket

The standard bottom bracket for Shimano DXR Hollowtech II cranksets with BSA threading. The new BSA bottom brackets have narrower races, so the TLFC37 tool is required for installation.

The Shimano DXR cranksets are only compatible with 68 mm bottom bracket shells. A 2.5 mm spacer for adapting to 68 mm bottom bracket shells when fitting without a chain guide is included in the scope of delivery. This bottom bracket is equivalent to the standard Deore XT BB-MT800 bottom brackets, but is supplied with only one spacer.

All Shimano Hollowtech II bottom brackets are compatible with all Hollowtech II MTB cranksets. You can also fit an SLX crankset with an XTR bottom bracket, or vice versa. Adjustable to 68 mm bottom bracket shells using spacer rings. Also compatible with E-Type derailleurs and chain guides. Please note that to install the bottom bracket, the frame thread must be cleanly re-tapped and the sides of the frame shell must be planed flat. Otherwise, the bottom bracket will have a short service life.
