Shimano BB107 Pressfit Bottom Bracket

The Shimano Pressfit bottom bracket at Deora XT level. The new bottom bracket design is characterised above all by its low weight, low Q-factor and greater ankle clearance. Furthermore, it is easy and safe to install and guarantees a longer service life thanks to the larger bearing diameters.

BB107 bottom bracket shell:

The BB92 bottom bracket shells have a width of 104 to 107 mm and a press-fit depth of 41 mm. These bottom brackets are only compatible with cranks designed for an 83 mm installation length. These bottom brackets are press-fit.

Shimano Hollowtech II crank axle 24 mm / 83 mm:

The Shimano Hollowtech II crankset system features a solid 24 mm axle. The MTB cranks for 83 mm bottom bracket shells have an axle length of 136 mm and are also only compatible with 83 mm wide bottom bracket shells. This axle system is also used on Race Face X-type cranks for 83 mm shells. The respective bottom brackets are compatible with one another.

Included in the delivery: right and left cup, including bearing units, for frames with a 41 mm bottom bracket diameter and 104 and 107 mm bottom bracket widths. These Pressfit BB cups are supplied with a 2.5 mm spacer ring and are therefore suitable for two bottom bracket shell widths.
