BB92 bottom bracket shell:
The BB92 bottom bracket shells have a width of 92 mm and a press-fit dimension of 41 mm. These bottom brackets are compatible with standard MTB cranksets, including Boost-spec cranksets. These bottom brackets are press-fitted.
Sram DUB Super Boost crank axles 29 mm:
The MTB DUB Super Boost cranks have a longer axle, 121 mm, than standard DUB cranks for frames. These bottom brackets are only compatible with Super Boost DUB cranks. The SRAM DUB cranks have an axle diameter of 29 mm and are only compatible with bottom brackets designed for DUB cranks.
SRAM has developed its own axle standard for the DUB cranks. The SRAM DUB cranks have an axle diameter of 28.99 mm and are only compatible with bottom brackets designed for DUB cranks. The MTB DUB cranks have a longer axle (112 mm) than the road bike DUB cranks (106 mm). This means that MTB cranksets can also be fitted to frames with wider bottom bracket shells. There are also Wide Road and Wide MTB cranksets. These axles are also longer than standard axles, although the Road Wide axle, at 112 mm, corresponds to the standard MTB axle.121
Standard MTB cranks and Boost MTB cranks have the same axle lengths, 112 mm. The MTB Wide cranks have a 118 mm axle and the Super Boost+ cranks a 121 mm axle, and each requires different bottom brackets or additional spacers.
