Bottom Bracket Wheels Manufacturing

The T47 bottom brackets from Wheels Manufacturing allow cranks with a 30 mm axle to be fitted into frames with T47 bottom bracket shells measuring 68 mm, 73 mm and 100 mm in width; not BB30 compatible

Wheels offers the T47 bottom brackets in two versions: the Inboard T47, with narrower cup shells for T47 bottom bracket shells 68 to 132 mm wide, and the Outboard T47 bottom bracket with wider cup shells for 68, 73 and 100 mm T47 bottom bracket shells.

Wheels Enduro ABEC3 ball bearings:

The Wheels Enduro ABEC3 ball bearings offer very high precision. The balls are twice as round as standard industrial bearings, with a roundness tolerance of 10 / 1,000,000. The ball material, 52100 high-carbon chromium alloy, is extremely robust and specially hardened. It is also polished to a high gloss.

Fitted with double silicone seals, double lip seals and heavy-duty grease, these bearings guarantee excellent durability. The Enduro bearings are easy to maintain and are replaceable.

30 mm crank axles:

Cranks with a continuous 30 mm axle are offered by various manufacturers, e.g. the Cane Creek eeWings, FSA BB386EVO, e*thriteen, Race Face Cinch 30, Sram EVO 386 and Rotor 30 models. These crank axles are longer than those of BB30 cranks. A minimum axle length of 104 mm is required with a 68 mm bottom bracket shell width. Not BB30 compatible.

Wheels Outboard bottom bracket compatibility:

Compatible with MTB and road bike cranksets featuring 30 mm crank axles with a minimum length of 104 mm, e.g. Cane Creek eeWings, e*Thirteen, FSA BB386, Race Face Chinch 3, Rotor 30, Sram BB386Evo. The Wheels WRENCH-BB48-44 tool is required for installation. The standard Hollowtech tool does not fit

T47 threaded bottom bracket shell

The bottom bracket shells have a width of 68 to 132 mm and a 47x1.0 mm thread (outer diameter 47 mm), into which the bearing cups are screwed. Both bearing cups are screwed in the direction of travel. Adjustment to the different shell widths is achieved using the washers included in the scope of delivery.
