The T47 threaded bottom brackets from Wheels Manufacturing for MTB and road bike cranksets with a 24 mm axle are designed for installation in frames with T47 bottom bracket shells measuring 86.5 mm and 89.5 mm in width

Wheels Enduro ABEC3 ball bearings:

The Wheels Enduro ABEC3 ball bearings offer very high precision. The balls are twice as round as standard industrial bearings, with a roundness tolerance of 10/1,000,000. The ball material, 52100 high-carbon chromium alloy, is extremely robust and specially hardened. It is also polished to a high gloss. The Enduro bearings are replaceable and easy to maintain.

Equipped with double silicone seals, double lip seals and heavy-duty grease, these bearings guarantee excellent durability. The Enduro bearings are easy to maintain and are replaceable.

Shimano Hollowtech II crankset axle 24 mm / Road - MTB:

The Shimano Hollowtech II crankset system features a solid 24 mm axle. The road bike cranks have an axle length of 110 mm and the MTB cranks 120 mm. This axle system is also used on FSA Megaexo cranks and Race Face X-type cranks. The respective bottom brackets are compatible with one another. The DH Saint and Zee cranks for 83 and 100 mm installation widths have longer axles and will only fit frames with correspondingly wider bottom bracket shells.

FSA MegaExo 24 mm / Road - MTB:

The FSA MegaExo crankset system features a solid 24 mm axle, in line with the Shimano Hollowtech II system. However, some models are fitted with a 24.7 mm axle. These bottom brackets are not compatible with those models.

Race Face X-Type crank axle 24 mm:

The Race Face X-Type crankset has a 24 mm through-axle, just like the Shimano Hollowtech II cranks. The X-Type MTB cranks for 73 mm and 68 mm bottom bracket shells have an axle length of 120 mm. The cranks for 83 mm bottom bracket shells have an axle length of 136 mm. This axle system is also used on FSA MegaExo cranks. The respective bottom brackets are compatible with one another.

T47 threaded bottom bracket cups

The bottom bracket shells have a width of 68 to 132 mm and a 47x1.0 mm thread (outer diameter 47 mm), into which the bearing cups are screwed. Both bearing cups are screwed in the direction of travel. Adjustment to the different shell widths is achieved using the washers included in the scope of delivery.

Wheels MFG offers the T47 bottom brackets in two versions: Inboard T47, with narrower cup shells for the 86.5, 89.5 and 121 mm wide T47 bottom bracket shells, and the Outboard T47 bottom bracket with wider cups for 68, 73 and 100 mm T47 bottom bracket shells.

Wheels Outboard bottom bracket compatibility:

Compatible with MTB and road bike cranksets with 24 mm crank axles, e.g. Shimano Hollowtech II, FSA Megaexo, Race Face X-Type. The tooling on the bearing cups is 48.5 mm with 16 splines. The Wheels WRENCH-BB48-44 tool is required for installation.
